DANIELSON TO SEEK NH SENATE SEAT
BEDFORD NH — David J. Danielson, of Bedford, NH will seek the Republican nomination for State Senate District 9 which includes the Towns of Bedford, Greenfield, Lyndeborough, Merrimack, Mont Vernon and New Boston currently Represented by Senator Sheila Roberge, who will leave office after serving residents of the district for twenty-four years. Danielson, a New Hampshire native, served twelve years as a Bedford Town Councilor. In addition, he is on the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission, is currently president of the New England Association of Regional Councils and serves on the board of the National Association, co-chairing the Environment and Energy Committee. Testifying before US Senate staff he has represented the needs of small cities, rural communities and regions in a number of proposed legislative programs. Recently he attended a US Senate Caucus for Rural Communities on behalf of the American Public Works Association, presented to the Senate Banking Committee staff on The Livable Communities Act, and participated in a White House Conference on Sustainable Communities.
A nearly life-long affiliation with the Republican Party he was an elected delegate to the State Convention a number of times, served as the Hillsborough County Chair, and was the Town chair or co-chair for a number of candidates.
As an adjunct faculty member of Southern New Hampshire University he recently received the Excellence in Teaching Award. He is the principal of Forecee Advocacy, LLC that has a focus on training and strategic project development.
He and his wife are the very proud parents of a soon to be married son.
