Bedford Republican Committee Calendar for 2008Join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the lower level of the Bedford Public Library. Meetings dates and times are subject to change so please check back. Please refer to the State GOP Calendar for details of other meetings and events of interest to Republicans across New Hampshire. Next BRC General Membership Meeting: There will be no meeting in June. The Bedford Republican Committee will hold its annual summer social on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the McGinley residence from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. See below for more info.

Ray Wieczorek for Executive Council Fundraiser - May 22A fundraiser will be held for Executive Councilor Ray Wieczorek (R) on Thursday, May 22, from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Executive Court Function Center, Londonderry, NH.
Manchester GOP Thirsty Thursdays - May 22The Manchester Republicans will host a 'Thirsty Thursdays' get together on EACH fourth Thursday of the month at the beautiful new Murphy's Tap Room, 494 Elm St., Manchester from 6:00-8:00 PM with free appetizers! Come meet fellow Republicans from Manchester.
Candidate Filing Period - June 4-13Filing period for NH House or Senate is between June 4-13, 2008 at the Bedford Town Offices.
And Evening with Secretary of the Navy Middendorf - June 13Former Secretary of the Navy Ambassador J. William Middendorf II will be the featured speaker at the annual Reagan Network dinner on Friday, June 13th at the Radisson in Manchester. Pre-dinner VIP cocktail reception is at 6:00 PM, dinner will be at 7:00 PM. VIP reception is $500 per person and guest and the dinner is $50 per person. Ambassador J. William Middendorf, II "has been Chairman of the Defense Forum Foundation since 1988. He previously served as the U.S. Ambassador to the European Communities from 1985-1987; Ambassador to the Organization of American States from 1981-1985; Secretary of the Navy from 1974-1976; and Ambassador to the Netherlands from 1969-1973. In 2002, he received the Maritime Security Lifetime Excellence Award. Middendorf helped start the Marine Corps Marathon and the trophy is named in his honor. In addition to serving as Chairman of DFF, he also serves as a trustee for the Heritage Foundation and on the Board of the International Republican Institute. Annual BRC Summer Social - June 26The Bedford Republican Committee will hold its annual summer social on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the McGinley residence from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert. Please RSVP to Shannon McGinley by June 20th if you plan to attend and let her know what you are bringing. She can also send directions at this time.
